The story above relates that there were four programmers involved.. there was actually a fifth. Me. I'm mentioned on page 1261.

This lawsuit became one of the precendents where the Supreme Court said that "Look and Feel" is not sufficient to sue over.

What isn't mentioned is that it was my testimony that Lotus copied Visicalc for the use of "slash / commands" - that led to Lotus's own undoing in their lawsuit against Slyk and Mosaic.
